Product & Compatibility
KillPin is designed to be compatible with a wide range of car models and makes, including both turn-key and push-button start systems. Whether you drive a sedan, SUV, truck, or commercial vehicle, KillPin can be configured to work with your ignition system. Contact us to confirm compatibility with your specific vehicle.
KillPin integrates with your vehicle's ignition system and requires a unique PIN code to be entered on a discreet keypad before the engine will start. Without the correct code, the vehicle is completely immobilized — even if a thief has your keys, a cloned fob, or relay equipment. Enter your PIN, then press the star key, and you're driving. It's as simple as using your bank card.
No. KillPin is designed to minimize any interference with your vehicle's communication network (CANBus, etc.). The system works alongside your existing electronics without conflict.
KillPin draws negligible power in standby mode — far less than your car's clock or alarm system. It will not impact your battery life under normal conditions.
Installation
A certified vehicle electrician can install the standard KillPin system on most vehicles in under an hour. The KillPin Advanced kit, which includes additional untraceable circuit blockers, may take up to two hours depending on the vehicle model. Call 514-422-0303 for details.
We strongly recommend professional installation by a certified vehicle electrician to ensure optimal security and proper integration with your vehicle's systems. A DIY install could leave vulnerabilities that an experienced thief could exploit. Contact us and we can connect you with a certified installer in your area.
The keypad is installed in a discreet location inside your vehicle chosen by the installer — typically within easy reach of the driver but hidden from plain sight. The compact design blends seamlessly into your interior, and the illuminated buttons allow easy use at night.
PIN Code & Security
Absolutely. The KillPin kit comes with detailed instructions on how to change your PIN code at any time. You can update it as often as you like for maximum security. Call 514-422-0303 if you need assistance.

Extremely secure. KillPin is designed to be very difficult to defeat, even by experienced electricians. The KillPin Advanced model takes it further with untraceable circuit blocker units — in our testing, even experienced electricians could not disable it in over 4 hours. Call 514-422-0303 to learn more about the Advanced system.
No. Unlike keyless entry systems that can be exploited with relay devices, KillPin requires a physical PIN code entry on the keypad inside the vehicle. There is no wireless signal to intercept, boost, or relay. This is what makes KillPin fundamentally more secure than key fob-based systems.
Yes. Any authorized person who knows the PIN code can operate the vehicle. Simply share the code with trusted family members or drivers. You can change the code at any time if needed.
